"REPRESENTING HORSEMEN RACING ACROSS NEW MEXICO"

An incorporated non-profit organization, the New Mexico Horsemen's Association was formed in 1966 for the purpose of promoting the interest, welfare and health of licensed owners, trainers and grooms who race in New Mexico. Through our PAC fund we employ a lobbyist who watches over our interests at the New Mexico State legislature. Our mission and goal is to assist Horsemen in all aspects of the racing industry in New Mexico.

NEWS AND NOTES

VOTING WILL START ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 7TH AT THE HORSEMENS OFFICE AT SUNLAND PARK AND ON MONDAY 12/9-12/13 IN THE STATE OFFICE IN ALBUQUERQUE.

CHANGE TO SPLIT TEST POLICY - The New Mexico Horsemen's Association will only pay for one split test per racing year (Sunland meet to Zia meet).  You will not longer be allowed to send one split per each meet.  Once you have used your one per year you will be required to pay for any split test that you need to send.
This goes into effect starting on December 6th 2013.

The final commission agenda will now come out 72 hours before their meeting.  If you want on the agenda you will need to notify them before that time.  Please see calander for meeting dates for the rest of 2013.
